Speakers
Dr. Victor D. Rosenthal is a medical doctor specializing in internal medicine and infectious diseases and has a PhD in epidemiology. He is a Professor at the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Miami, where he serves as Director of the Master of Public Health and as the instructor of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology course. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice and the Healthcare-Associated Infection Prevention Guidelines for the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID). He has contributed to standards, guidelines, and recommendations for the World Health Organization (WHO), the Joint Commission International (JCI), and health authorities in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Colombia, and other countries. Dr. Rosenthal is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the International Nosocomial Infection Control Consortium (INICC).
